Hello, my name is Hannah Gurske Murphy! I am the owner of Beauty by Hannah Elise. I attended Z Hair Academy in 2020 which was a super crazy year but one of the best of my life! I also got married in 2020 to the most incredible man in the world. We live in Louisburg where we have a beautiful daughter Lydia and two dogs, Freckles and Tod. (Ask about them and you will definitely get some amazing Christmas pictures of them lol.)

Before hair school I worked at a salon. While working there, I learned so much and met my mentor there. I was going to be just like her by doing hair extensions and being a blonde specialist! Unfortunately that dream did not go to plan when I found out that I am deathly allergic to hair color after a prolonged exposure reaction. Once I had figured that out, I jumped into the world of lash extensions, and became certified with ProLash Academy! I have continued my education with lash lift, brow lamination, further lash training, and bridal classes.

I have since followed my mentor as she achieved her dreams in creating her dream salon, Victoria Rose Studios.  I now work there and am working my dream job making everyone feel and look their best. While working their I missed doing hair and decided to look further into bridal styling. I had always had an interest in makeup and updos so I reached out to a local wedding show and asked how I could get involved. From there my wedding business took off!! I love working with brides and their family and friends on their wedding day. I started growing more and more. I have since worked over 100 weddings and have received "Kansas City Engaged 2024 Best Makeup Artist" award. I don't plan to slow down anytime soon and would love to be apart of your big day!
